Det råder uppenbarligen viss stiltje vad gäller nytt musikaliskt utbud så här i bakvattnet av jul och nyår. Skivbolagen räknar väl inte med att det ska finnas några slantar kvar i plånboken efter allt festande - både klokt och oklokt.
Slant - ett begrepp som nog snart tillhör en förgången tid. En tid som väl redan är här - inser att jag i ärlighetens namn inte vet hur en svensk krona ser ut - absurt! Däremot finns inom idet hundratals gamla kronor kvar - som "bara" aldrig lämnades in.
Men SHOVELS & ROPE importeras genom deras friska enkla källarversion av Chuck Berrys "You Never Can Tell" på deras andra album i serien ´Busted Jukebox' och THE BOXER REBELLION "Love Yourself" som i finstämd harmoni behandlar ett allvarligare ämne. Den utvalda låten från BLUE OCTOBER och deras album som kommer sommaren 2018 är utgiven på singel och finns tillgänglig för import 12 januari - "I Hope You Feel Happy". Ingen ny "I Want It" men ändock.
